Results information for faculty, instructors and TAs

  1. From the file menu on your browser, save the report as an HTML document.
  2. If you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer, use the printer driver for Acrobat that allows you to print the document to a PDF.
  3. Copy and paste the Web page into a Word document.
  4. If your SRTEs were completed on paper forms, request the PDF version that was sent to your academic unit.
  • How do I view multiple years of my results simultaneously?

Plans are underway to develop reports that will visually compare a range of semesters. Until that feature is available, you will need to print the results and compare them manually.

  • Who has access to my results?

As the instructor of record for a course, you automatically have access to your results. Access is also granted to your academic unit administrators. There may be other administrative personnel from your campus, college, or academic unit who also have access for administrative purposes. SRTE results for faculty who teach World Campus courses are sent to World Campus administrators. World Campus will share these results with the academic administrators in the academic unit that sponsors the faculty member.

  • How do I grant access to my results to others?

For SRTEs administered online visit https://rateteaching.psu.edu and click the Proxy access link under the Reports heading. Select the correct semester and check the box next to the reports you wish to allow others to view. Enter the access id for the user you wish to grant access to and select the date range for which you want them to have access. Next click the 'Grant Proxy Access' button. Unless otherwise specified, the proxy will last for six weeks from the date granted.

  • How do I get help interpreting my results?

The teaching and learning consultants at the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence are available to help you better understand your SRTE results.
